Next Round Golf is excited to announce a game-changing addition to our platform: the Online Trade-In Portal. If you’ve grown out of your current clubs and are looking to upgrade, our new trade-in program makes it easier than ever to turn your used equipment into store credit. It's quick, convenient, and completely transparent.

Whether you're looking to trade in a single club or an entire set, our streamlined process lets you trade-in your old gear and put that value toward something new—all online.

How Does the Trade-In Process Work?

Trading in your clubs with Next Round Golf is as easy as teeing up on a sunny day. Here's how it works:

  1. Search for Your Clubs: Use our Trade-In Portal to search for the specific clubs you want to trade.

  2. Get an Instant Quote: You'll receive a real-time store credit quote based on brand, model, condition, and demand.

  3. Ship Your Clubs: We'll provide a prepaid shipping label and packing instructions. Box them up and send them our way.

  4. Receive Store Credit: Once we inspect your clubs (typically within 3–5 business days), we’ll email you and apply store credit to your account.

What Kind of Clubs Do We Accept?

Our trade-in program is built to accept most major name-brand golf clubs, including:

  • Drivers

  • Fairway Woods

  • Hybrids

  • Iron Sets

  • Wedges

  • Putters

  • Individual Shafts

The key is that the clubs must be listed in our Trade-In Portal and be in playable condition. If a club isn’t listed, we’re not currently accepting that model. This ensures a smooth, predictable process for every customer.

How Is Trade-In Value Determined?

We use up-to-date market data to calculate the trade-in value of your clubs. Factors include:

  • Brand & Model: Top-performing and high-demand brands retain more value.

  • Condition: Clubs in excellent or good condition fetch higher values.

  • Current Market Demand: Popular models see stronger trade-in offers.

The value you see when submitting your trade is locked in as long as the condition matches what you selected and your clubs are shipped within 10 days.

Determining Your Club’s Condition

Honesty is the best policy—especially when it comes to condition grading. Use our Condition Scale for help. If you're not sure, ask yourself this: Would I be happy receiving this club in this condition if I were the buyer? If not, consider lowering the grade.

We don’t nitpick minor wear, but excessive damage, missing parts, or non-functional equipment may result in an adjusted offer.

Do You Get Paid in Cash or Store Credit?

All trade-ins are paid out in store credit. You can use it to shop thousands of products across our site, including used clubs, golf bags, complete sets, and more. It’s a great way to upgrade your gear without opening your wallet.

Is Shipping Free?

Yes, and here's how it works:

  • Trade-ins over $100: Shipping is 100% free.

  • Trade-ins under $100: We still provide a shipping label, but a small fee will be deducted from your store credit.

Either way, you get a prepaid label and packing instructions to keep things easy.

How Do I Ship My Clubs?

Once you complete your trade-in submission, you'll receive:

  • A prepaid shipping label

  • Step-by-step packing instructions

You can use your own box or reuse packaging from a previous club shipment. Just make sure the clubs are snug and protected as Next Round is not liable for items damaged in transit.

When Will You Receive Store Credit?

Most customers receive store credit within 3–5 business days after we receive the shipment. You’ll get an email notification once your credit has been issued.

What Happens If My Clubs Don’t Match the Condition?

We get it—grading condition can be subjective. We won’t penalize you for small discrepancies. However, if there’s a major difference (like a cracked head or damaged shaft), we’ll re-evaluate your quote and issue store credit based on the actual condition.

You’ll always receive an update if any changes are made.

Can You Cancel or Modify a Trade-In?

Yes, but only if you haven’t shipped your clubs yet. If you've changed your mind or entered incorrect information, just contact our customer support team at support@nextround.com before shipping. Once your package is in transit, the trade-in is final.
